Dr. Cathy Norton graduated magna cum laude from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1996. She earned her B.A. in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin in 1992. She is licensed by the Texas Optometry Board as a therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist. Dr. Norton opened her private practice, Park Cities Eye Associates, in Preston Center in 1996. She specializes in treating dry eye disease and fitting contact lenses.  She served on the Board of Directors for the Dallas County Optometric Society as an officer (President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary) for eight years.  She joined Vision Source, North America's largest network of independent optometrists focused on personalized patient care and advanced technology, in 2015. Dr. Norton resides in Addison with her husband, SMU college student son, and 3 cats. She is also a certified yoga instructor and loves to teach and practice yoga, workout, and read.
